Your forum doesn't believe me when I tell it that I live in -6 GMT. I think it's convinced itself that all human life exists only -12.

Maybe the database is form the future where some sort of apocalyptic nuclear winter killed everyone not living in Australia.

Hmmm... that appears to be a problem.

I'll see if they have a fix for it.

If they don't, then everyone must move to Austrailia. They have a shortage of men there anyway... and Aussie women dig American men!

EDIT: After a quick search of the monster fucking forum over at the developers site, I found an issue with the database schema setup files that required a manual sql query be run to correct. They apparently only left the field 4 characters wide for the GMT offset... but if you live on this side of of the world, you need it to be 5 characters long so you can include the "-".

All better now.

In a nutshell, run this query:
ALTER TABLE phpbb_users CHANGE user_timezone user_timezone DECIMAL(5,2) DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL

Or... from myPhpAdmin, load the forum tables, then select the phpbb_users table, select the user_timezone table and edit it from 4,2 to 5,2.

Easy as pie.
