Ok... it's a few days early, but with the holiday and all, you might need extra time.

Sure.

Grab a chunk of the rock surface (a fairly large piece, preforably of stone that's been carved flat, like to the right of Lincoln). Copy it, make a new file, plaste it in, and save it as rocktexture.psd.

Now, paste in your object you want to add to the pshop23.jpg (so it's on a new layer), desaturate it, use the eye dropper to pick up the color from Washington's face, go to "Image", "Adjustments", "Hue/Saturation". Click the "colorize" box below the sliders.

Ok... now you go to "Filter", "Texture", Texturizer". Where it says "texture" in the pulldown list, select "Load Texture". Navigate to the rocktexture.psd file you saved and load it. Mess with the "scaling, relief, and light direction" until youre happy.

Then, to make it a little more believable, make sure you add long, dark shadows from the nose, chin, etc (like the other faces have).

I must be some kinda idiot cause when I try to colorize it, it tries to use some brownish color, not the one I selected with the eye dropper. I'll try later.

You'll need to adjust the saturation with the colorize (back it off a bit).

I worked on one for about 30 minutes, then my computer crashed.

It's a problem with the mouse, a Microsoft Optical Explorer 1.0. They have a habit of dropping off the face of the earth every so often... do it enough times and the PS/2 dies (kinda like un-plugging and plugging it in several times in a row).

Today, I went out and got a new one... same thing but version 4.0 (and USB). Pretty sweet input device... mouse wheel leans left and right for side scrolling.

I'll work on it again tomorrow (since I have the day off).

I'll be damned... they were pretty much all Republicans. That gives me inspiration for my rendition.
