All of a sudden, I can no longer edit posts in Darwin's Grab Bag - what, did I cross my limit?

I think he did this because he wanted to make sure somebody didn't delete all their posts

Oh, that's right...Somebody left, according to Bio...not naming names....

Is that why, Bio?

I suppose that I should play with PHPBB again, but can't you lock up a user so their "wisdom" remains, but cannot otherwise utilize the forum?

That would be possible if I implemented usergroups. But that's a pain in the keister... moving people from group to group, assigning privelages to those groups, etc.

Besides, he's more than welcome to come back, just needs to quit instigating and trying to be a pain in the backside. I assume if he has any questions for the Admins he'll PM them. If not, life as usual.

He could just apply for a change in password, if I recall correctly.

I'm not changing his password or disabling his account. He's more than welcome to come back and play with us if he'd like.

I actually quite enjoyed him for the most part (well... when he wasn't hijacking threads and was making sense).

I did go against what I said a few posts ago.

I disabled his account and blocked his home IP. He did post from a few other IP's, but 90% came from his home (and that's the one I blocked).
