Forum downtime - upgrade to phpbb

The wacky kids over at phpbb released a new version of the forum software yesterday.

I'll be taking this thing down at some point today and do the upgrade.

So... if you show up and the forum isn't here, that's why. If you show up an hour later and the forum still isn't here, there's a problem.

Unfortunately, they don't really have an upgrade. Like all their updates, it's all or nothing. I'll be backing everything up before I attempt this (so we can restore later).

Today I seen a dog walking backwards......actually walking backwards. I found that odd so I am reporting it.

That's... um... great

Now... if the dog was walking backwards as a direct result of the upgrade, I'd be worried.

Most likely, it was a very ugly dog. It's owner shaved it's butt and trained it to walk backwards.

Ahhh, come on now...you can tell my butt from my face...my butt has hair on it, and only one eye and a BIG nose below. My face doesn't have hair, and it does have two eyes...

in all honesty...I don't why the dog was walking backwards but it could have been because of a direct result due to the upgrade. It is rather odd that I seen the it after the upgrade had happened. I think they are linked. You have disrupted the whole order of life as we know it or maybe it was just a coincidence.

I woke up the day after the upgrade with a horrod cold and no energy. I can only assume that this is because of this upgrade thing.
I really hope that people will stand up and take notice. It's about time they realize that their actions can have devestating results on the people around them.

I've decided to downgrade the forum to version 2.0.6 (this is the same version that got pwned by "OMG!! I AM BRAZIL!! ANY SEXY F IN THE ROOM?!!1"* not too long ago.

Everything in the world was pure and good and true back then.

I've also decided that I'm going to uninstall Apache and instead install VBBS with ANSI support.

Oh, the great times we'll have playing L.0.R.D. (it's very complicated... here's some tips to get your started), Trade Wars, and Global War.

* If you've never been on IRC, this will make little sense. I have, and therefore it makes perfect sense. Eve will back me on this.

Look, ordinarily I would back you Bio, but since you upgraded, I've lost all trust due to the harm your selfish actions have caused.

Besides, going back to IRC days would mean
