I resemble that remark!!

Well... except for the fact that I'm slightly fatter since I last saw you (215 pounds now). I guess that's not so bad though since I am 6'4".

Faggots were originally bundles of sticks used for burning (also applied to cigarettes - miss 'em yet, Bio?) - that term was used extensively in England and showed up in various books (my fave was Kipling's "Stalky & Co." - a real hoot, IMHO).

It was in America (of course), where "Faggot" was applied to homosexuals.

More information can be found at: http://www.straightdope.com/mailbag/mfaggot.html and other places on the web.

Bio,

Yeah, but 215 is nothing compared to where I am at now ('course I was big back then, too.).

When I lived in England, I seem to recall visiting my local Tesco's store and purchasing 4 frozen faggots in gravy...

So pigman... what I'm hearing you say is: you're a mushy faggot forker.

If this is so... I just may have to change your title on the forum. :D

Yeah... pounds. Not stone, not kg.

But if we were to go down the whole european scale of things... I'd be just over 193 cm and around 97.5 kg (or 15.36 stone).

I never did understand the stone thing. Or the whole "Bob's your uncle" gig either.
