I went, he saw, I left.
All is well in the back department. He said that the level of bone growth I have is about double what he normally sees (cuz I'm still kinda youngish). Everything is looking really good!
I still have to wear the brace during the day, but can take it off at night (yay... sleep!!). I'm also allowed to drive a car (after the meds are cut a bit more), go outside, and most importantly... I get to go back to work on Monday!!
Of course, I'll have some limitations (weight limit of 5 pounds for lifting, must be allowed to wear the brace, etc).
I have a follow up again in another 6 weeks, where I can pry take my brace and put it in storage (fingers crossed!).
Now I gotta find some clothes that I can wear to work. I've been wearing pajama bottoms for the past 6 weeks... those pry won't fly in the office.

Great news!! And as sad as it is, you are probably pretty excited to come back to work. So you'll probably be outside all week then eh?

Well it'll be good to have you back.

Have you seen the temprature out there?!?
At this moment, it’s 92º f (33.3º c) out there. It’s 72º f (22.2º c) indoors.
I'm staying in my nice air conditoined house!!!
And yes... I'm totally excited to get out. I need to come and see your new house!

I'm feeling pretty good. Theres still some pain, but not enough to take meds for.
My biggest worry is that I get tired and usually take a nap durring the day. Can't do that at work.
