Well, is it really good compared to most camera's out there or is it sub-par? I need opinions. Altough it doesn't matter since we already got it.

I'd say not too bad.

It's all about the optical zoom and that one has 6x. Digital zoom doesn't mean squat (you can do that with any graphics app). It's also pretty good on the quality (3.1 megapixel).

Beats he hell out of this one (of course, it's a hell of a lot cheaper and comes with loads of crappy extras). A friend of mine picked one up and it actually takes pretty good pictures (though I'd be embarrased to use it).
