As all of you now, I spent the last week and a half in Pittsburgh.

They put us up in the lovely Holiday Inn East Parkway.

Now... I'm not gonna say the room wasn't clean, but there was a "mystery stain" on my carpet, by the foot of the bed.

I present to you, exibit A:

And a close up (ooooh.... crusty!)

Now... I'm pretty sure I know what that is, and I hope I'm wrong.

Needless to say... I didn't walk around barefoot. How the hell does housekeeping miss something like that? It's pretty damn obvious, dont ya' think?

I dunno, Rocketdork... why don't you get some chips and try it out?

And yes, Moxie... "blarg!" pretty much sums it up.

nope, don't want to try it, and I'd have to go to Pittsburg to do it anyway.

I was just coming up with an explination that didn't make me shiver...

Heh... understandable.

I wasn't exactly gonna try a home DNA test on it myself. I just let it be.

I did want to put a note on the floor that read "Can you not see this?" with a big arrow pointing at it, but that might remove some of the "rustic charm" from the room.

You never use me for advice anymore.

Your Answer is Obvious: Cover it with your own fluids. It's not a problem if it's YOUR stain.

Isn't that what Clinton said was on Monica's blue dress?
