I'm still in Pittsburg and will be till the 29th when I fly home.

Bejesus... they have no idea how to drive here.

I spend my days in the Penn Hills NOC, where the HVAC keeps it a tropical 55 degrees (12.8 c).

Currently, I have nipples that can cut glass.

Here's a pic of what we've built so far. Later today we get to test it.

We've been trying to have fun in the off time (other than drinking excessive quantities of beer).

I had a choice today of going with Carl and Jim to tour of Frank Lloyd Wright's falling water house or watch a hockey game with Travis and Jeff.

I chose to go downtown and hit Mellon Arena to watch the Pittsburg Penguins take on the New York Rangers. Going to the house would have been cool too... but I don't think my back would have appreciated the 1.5 hour drive each way.

We had total nosebleed seats, but they were perfect, as we could see absolutely everything going on.

The penguins won the game in overtime with 7.9 seconds left. Final score: 4 -3

Later on, we went to Hooters for dinner. I've never been there before and was totally dissapointed. It's just a crappy resturant with waitresses in tight clothes.

Of course, that didn't stop me from asking our waitress, Amy, to pose for me.

This isn't supposed to be on the net, so shhhh.. don't tell her :D

You suck!!!

Can't believe you got to go to an NHL game. Course it was between two teams that sucked, but still. OT win, musta been fun.

Hooters is okay for the scenery, but unless you like hot wings the food pretty much sucks. Course even the wings aren't that great. But they do serve beer

Glad to hear you're having fun, thanks for the pics. See you when you get back. Remind me to tell you about my motorcycle battery fiasco.

It was totally fun, and I figured you would have some smart ass comment about it, as you're the hockey fan, and I'm not. I like going to live games but never watch it on tv (nor do I follow it or any other sport)

Three of the guys shared a 50 piece platter of wings. I had the Texas Steak Sammich. I should have pry had the wings instead.

All fun officially ends tomorrow. That's when the customer fires up the system and runs a full disaster recovery test. I have to sit there and watch it. It's 15 hours a day sitting in a NOC with nothing to do.

Wheeee!

And I promise to flip you escessive shit over whatever happened with your motorcycle battery (I told you to start your bike up every weekend and let it run for 20 minutes). :-)

Oh... and since we completed the test early, I get to go home early.

I'll be in Spokane tomorrow night.

Yay, me!
