Little fluffy clouds...

The ongoing saga of my gimp ass leg continues.

Some 16 years ago, I had the misfortune of getting run over by cars not once, but twice in less than a year.

They've found a few more things wrong with it today and I'm off to see a specialist (I just finished yet another 8 week stint of physical theropy!). Perhaps they'll just amputate and get it over with (can a one legged man still ride his motorcycle?)

They also shot my ass full of cortisone today and prescribed a new pain med for me (as the current one was giving me the emotions of a woman suffering from a nasty case of postpartum depression).

Darvocet makes life happy (if not somewhat fuzzy). I think tonight I'll forgo dinner, take a pill, drink a few beers, and practice driving some heavy machinery next to the day care.

Better living through chemistry.

Of course, normally I don't even take asprin... being dependant on a little bottle to function normally irritates me.

With that in mind, I picked up Trainspoting today. I forgot that you get to see Ewan McGregor's daddy parts in the film.

Oh, I like Darvocet... I like it too much though. Now I am on:

Percocet as needed
Meperidine (Demerol) as needed
Tramadol (Ultram) as needed
Celecoxib (Celebrex) 1-2 a day
Naproxen (Naprosyn) 2 a day
Citalopram 1 a day

Glucosamine with Chondroitin
Ginkgo Biloba
Hydroxycut
Centrum
Vitamin C
Garlic

Oh, and the occasional 'dust bunny' if I drop a pill on the floor. Mix it all up with a quadruple 7-n-7 and you have the makings of a most entertianing time.

Sounds very similar to my chemical mix.

It worries me though... if I feel this way at age 36... what will I feel like at 50?

Well if they keep me on the percoet and demerol I suspect I will not be feeling much of anything.

I saw it three times in one week at the indy theatre that used to be here. I was seventeen then, so Kirt, you must have been... 9? I love that fucking movie.

Last night I rented Sliding Doors last night. Gwyneth Paltrow was brilliant in it. As far as chick flicks go (and I am a chick flick kinda guy), this one is worth watching.

Today... it was pure Repo Man (love that movie!)

Yeah, somewhere around there. Jesus, I remember watching all the movies that are really bad for a young developing mind.

Alien Ressurection, Trainspoting, Boogie Nights, and many others.

No wonder I'm so fucking disturbing.

You think watching Alien Ressurection and Boogie Nights makes you disturbing? I find that on the whole, utterly mundane.

Personally...

I am still hooked on the post about Ewan McGregor's daddy parts.

<Fanning myself>

I need to see more movies, apparently.

Off to the video rental store!

BTW, this is NOT implying permission to send me pictures of daddy parts, okay, you perverts? Sheesh, my kid's computer is in the same room.
