Working from home (in my dirty undershorts)

My boss came and talked to me yesterday about working from home.

She's decided that it would be in my best interest to check out a laptop and do Coldfusion development from the comfort of my recliner. I'm really glad she came up with this solution (ignore the fact that I was begging her for this a month ago).

Initially, I'll still be coming in once a week for meetings and to make contact with the people I'll be doing the development with (to make sure we're all on the same page).

So now I need to track down a laptop (I have one checked out in my name already... but someone else in the department stole it) and get it set up with the appropriate software so I can do the work and vpn into our network.

I like this idea... I just hope I have enough work to get paid.
