They give us personal days where I work. 3 days per year when you can take the day off and still get paid. This is in addition to vacation and sick leave.

The only problem is... if you don't use them by the end of the year, you loose 'em (because you get 3 more on January 1st).

So... I'm taking a 4 day weekend to burn off my last two personal days. I guess it'll give me time to do some christmas(TM) shopping. My wife has the same thing.. so she'll drive my chemically altered ass around.

Heh... now I just need to figure out what to do with the 180+ vacation hours I've accumulated over the past couple years (you can only have 240 of those before you lose them).

Take your lovely wife to some exotic location and seduce her.

i love my work they give us a shitload of off time too, i think i get 14 days vacation, 5 sick, and 2-3 personal. and the benefits are good too, you just have to put up with all the bullshit of working with people with their head up their asses. (easy for me, i'm lazy)

I've been working so long I get 1 day off for every 2 weeks I work now.

thats the government, they start like that anyway.
