The veager reference comes from a very old star trek episode...

Short of TNG movies, that one is actually my favourite Star Trek movie. "Wha-wha-whaaat?" I hear you proclaim, "Not 'Wrath of Khan?'"
Nope. The first one.

Heh.... that was the first time you saw the Enterprise with a purely digital bridge... not a single analog dial in the place.
Of course, now it's all
lcars (which, interestingly enough, are designed on a Mac).

Which is the one when Spock dies? That's my favorite.

I hated Star Trek as a kid, when my parents would put one of the movies on, because I never understood what the hell was going on (I didn't watch the series, and unless you do you're screwed when it comes to the movies). The only scene I ever remember liking was when Spock communicated with some whales.
