Tutorial: How to become a fat ass like me

Post by bio » Wed Sep 23, 2020 9:17 am

Welcome to Cooking with Bio!

Buy these 4" silicon rings from Amazon (I like the red ones, but you can choose your own color).

You'll need:
  • 1 egg
  • 1 bagel (I like the onion, but everything is good too)
  • 1 slice cheese (any. I use pepperjack)
  • 4 slices of round ham lunchmeat (~4" in diameter)
Preheat a griddle or very flat large pan over medium heat (I'm assuming you can figure this part out). Butter the bagel and put it down first, followed by the ham (I cook the ham in two stacks of 2). Once the bagel starts to brown a little big, put the silicon ring in the pan and add butter (swirl it when it melts to cover the surface and sides). Crack the egg into the silicon mold and immediately break the yolk and stir slightly with the corner of your spatula. Add salt and pepper to taste on the the egg. This is probably a good time to flip the ham.

Once the egg looks firm enough to remove the ring, do so and immediately cover with cheese, covering that with the 4 slices of ham. Combine the egg/cheese/ham stack with the bagel and enjoy your morning!

Low calorie alternatives: 1: Reduce the ham to 2 slices, use Pam instead of butter in egg mold. 2: Drink water and call it good.

I've missed that emoji. I'm glad it's back in my life.

I respect that.

I don't hunt or fish, and I try not to think about where my protein comes from or it's difficult to eat. I often joke I prefer to imagine that they have a vat of protein culture behind the meat counter, spraying it in styrofoam trays and growing it under cellophane until it becomes a steak, chop, or drumstick. The day when this is actually possible is fast approaching (they can currently grow fish and beef muscle in the lab).

Yeah, I'm 1000000% not eating that. But if it makes it possible for you to move to cruelty-free foods, and slows the wrecking of our ecosystem (pretty much on its way out now), then have at it.
