Yay! I win!!

I got a call from the disability company today (aka: Those Fuckers Too!).

They reinstated my claim and I will now be paid once again (and yes... I get all the back pay for the missing months).

I'm pretty happy with their decision (so is my wife and my wallet!!).

They did warn me, however, that they may do this again. According to my claims manager, they didn't turn it back on because of my pain, but because of the side effects of the drugs. She said that my new case manager may require that I undergo neurological testing to determine the extent of my med related symptoms.

What a bunch of fuckers.

On a side note, I still need letters from people I worked with for Social Security. If I didn't work closely with you, just a letter that talked about the pain you saw me in and the effects of the drugs is fine.

The money is going straight to bills, though I am buying myself a new computer (as mine is about 5 years old and can't be upgraded any more).

My money showed up 2 days ago... and yes they paid for bills.

Capitol One.... goodbye forever!!
City Card.... same to you!
HELOC (aka: second mortgage with a variable interest rate)... seriously diminished!

If you've never paid off your debits, you have no idea how good this feels (I know that Eddie fully understands).

I get paid again on Monday or Tuesday for the normal monthly amount. Life for the moment is sweet.

Amen brother... in-law :)

Glad to hear you have some happy days going. You sure have had enough of the shitty ones for a LONG time.
And yes, I will email you a letter at some point. Been busy as hell at work and my Comcast is pretty much not working (switching to DSL as we speak).
