There comes a time when you just have to let go...

Just in case anyone is interested, I've got a couple of motorcycles for sale:

Image

2004 Suzuki Intruder 1400cc VS1400GLP: 849 miles (yes... that's all), windshield, highway lights, floor boards, hard mount saddle bags, luggage rack. $7,000
Image

2000 Yamaha Royal Star Boulevard 1300cc XVZ1300A: 5,890 miles, windshield, highway lights, floor boards, yoke mount bags, after market pipes (for that rumble that you love), after market high performance jet kit. $8,500

And yes... this is breaking my heart, but they gotta go.

Well I can only imagine how much this sucks for you and I'd make you an offer on your wife's bike if I had the cash but unfortunately I don't right now.

Sorry you had to do this. :(

It's all good.

I can't ride the damn thing and it's just taking up room in my garage, taunting me. Hopefully I'll get to a point later when I can do things like that again.

I do have a possible buyer for both bikes. He came by yesterday and looked at them (he seemed pretty excited). He said he'd call back with his decision. If I don't hear from him by friday, the go onto the street with big "for sale" signs on them. With all the traffic I get during golf season, I'm sure I get them sold pretty quickly (they are pretty!).

I've had a few bites, but I haven't seen any cash cross my hand yet.

Honestly... I don't care if they sell or not. I'm doing fine financially, so that's not my motivation. If they don't sell, I'll just keep them.
