Yeah, I thought about the whole screenplay spin and think I may have seen this movie. But when it comes right down to it, two people who "may" have been very in love with each other are now separated through no fault of their own. Granted, I didn't want their God damned duck-footed children running around my neighborhood.

Well, I mis-spoke. Its funny insofar as its beyond incredible. It has its tragic, heartbreaking side of course. Its the kind of thing where you would definitely suspect a god of interfering with your personal happiness, because the odds are just too against something like this happening, especially when it ends with such an unfortunate result. I do wonder if I had discovered it if I would have told them. Provided they didn't reproduce, if they didn't know, who would it have harmed? But then again, how do you stop them reproducing without telling them?
Fate has an exceptionally pointed sense of irony.
