Yes, you have to endure a quick baby update (sorry for the blog type post, but actually advice would be greatly welcomed).

We had our second ultra sound yesterday at the 5 mo mark. So we're hoping to see all the arms and legs and such since you can't see that much at the 8 week one we did. The tech gets started and then turns to my wife and asks if twins run in her family, she said no. Then I spoke up and said they run in mine (just found that out a few weeks ago), my wife then asked the tech why? Are there 2? And she said yes...

Um, yikes! All along we were under the impression there was only one little eddie, now we find out there is 2. That changes a bunch of stuff. So, if anyone has any advice beyond run for the hills I'd be more than happy to hear it. Don't get me wrong, we're happy, just a little in shock still. :)

All I can say is be careful if you find out one of them can transform into water and the other random animals. Also be worried if they're constantly accompanied by a blue monkey - that thing is nothing but trouble.

All day tomorrow you have to run around singing the Double mint theme song.

Thanks for the well wishing, prayers and the advice (particularly the Wonder Twins, I'd have totally missed that one. Thanks).

Little background, yes we've been trying for about 3 years unsuccessfully. So she was on the lowest dose of chlomed (sp?), which is a form of fertility drug and we did a procedure to help "facilitate" the conception (I won't elaborate as to avoid causing harmful images to become lodged in your mind's eye). But yeah, we had some help. But the dose she was taking didn't up the chance for twins by much, maybe 5%. I think it was just that twins apparently ran in both our families. And from what I've read, if they're identical it's my fault, if they're fraternal it's most likely her fault. Yeah, I'm looking for who's to blame so when those 2am mutiple diaper changes and feedings kick in, I know whether I can shoot dirty looks her way, or if I need to avoid eye contact.

I really hope peanut butter, rubber gloves and a goat were not involved.

You'd be looking for who to blame whether it was one or two lol.

Thats funny. You didnt say that to me last night... Just joshin ya... Wow man. Thats amazing. My wife and I used Clomid on both of our daughters. Worked like a champ. Personaly, I wouldnt be worring about if they BOTH wake up needing a diaper change at the same time... Thats easy. Its when one wakes up and needs it, then an hour later, the other wakes up needing one along with its twin. I think churches have support groups for parents of twins.

For real though.. Congrats to you and your wife!
