On Tuesday, August 13th.... 2036, we have a problem.

It seems that we have an asteroid, named Apophis, that's going to swing around a get a little too close for comfort.

While it's not huge (only 460 feet long) and the chances of us getting hit are fairly low... at least we get a little time to think up a solution.

Apophis, son of Set. Popular villain of the TV show Stargate:SG1. Damn those science nerds and their kooky naming conventions!

Save us Morgan Freeman, you're our only hope.

I know, let's spend billions on a solution rather than deal with the climate change situation!

Motherfucker.

Can we put Bruce Willis, Joe Rogan, and Carlos Mencia in a rocket, and aim it at the rock?

I only include Bruce, as he has prior experience.

This car won't hit in America...you notice the slogan says, "Open your mind". It is America, I want something beefy that will serve me absolutely no purpose.....but it's big....and we are America, where bigger is better and we lack the smarts to go to smart cars and save ourselves from one horrible mess.

Painted, I think you underestimate just how smug the liberal left can be. Hell, it damn near wiped a little mountain town in Colorado off the map. San Francisco itself disappeared up its own ass for a while.

The only reason Daimler hasn't brought them over already is due to required roof stiffening by DOT. You can already get one from ZAP as they've taken the time and built the aftermarket facilities to bring them up to DOT standards.

It seems every time I go over to Seattle, I see a couple of them. Don't know much about the drivers; weather they're trying to save the planet or tired of sending their paychecks to the middle east (I'm more on the latter side of that one). Either way, they do have one thing in common with the rest of the modern population, they all seem to have their cell phones stuffed in their ears and can't seem to drive worth a damn.

BTW, Project Kimber bought the rights to the Smart Roadster, and yeah, I want one!

I blame encap for that.

When I get to my mid-aged crisis (which may be soon) I might turn to THIS
