I nominate...... Myself!

last week i shaved my head, completely bald, just cos the mrs said not to

This weekend, i spent an hour on the phone to my folks in england, on the deck , in the morning sunshine.

For the last few days my head looks like a large orange inflatable, that periodically dumps its yellow liquid contents all down my face....

hair + razor + sunshine - factor 30 suncream - common sense = pain

sigh

Yes, pics minus "its yellow liquid contents." No one wants to see that shit.

I've been seriously thinking about doing that again myself.

The upside is it's easy to do in the morning. The downside, I look like Bull from Night Court.

Doing what? Shaving your head or getting a sunburn? Shaving your head sounds a lot less painfull.

I've thought about shaving my head too, but I have a bigger melon than bio. Not to mention scalp acne. Very attractive. But it sure would be easier to deal with. Maybe someday.

Trust me when I say this: EVERYONE who has hair has scalp acne. You can't properly clean your head with hair… it happens.

That's why you shave your head on a Friday night. By Monday, most of it is gone, and a few days later all looks good. Since you can now wash your scalp properly, it goes away and stays away.

i bought a head razor this time ...... it works pretty good, you can shave your whole head pretty decently in about 4 minutes..... it takes a bit of practice, during which time if you grab a video camera you can relive all your favourite psycho moments..... The blade is pushed across your head blade first, instead of dragged which is kind of unnerving in the begining, but it really does cut close....

b.t.w. if anyone does buy one, wallgreens ' generic ' atrac II razors are about a quarter the price and seem to work great, no blade i know of lasts long when you chave your head anyway.

the bad side, the sunburn hurts like a banshee though... must wear hat...

There is no place worse to get a sunburn.... well, with the exception of the tip of your willy.... but that's another story (and no... there will be no details, so don't ask).

The thought of pushing a blade across your head kinds scares the hell out of me. It reminds me too much of using a plane in wood shop.

I used a Mach III, which is a damn fine razor (if not stupidly expensive).
