Oh. I just realized that I had already gotten what I needed to out of it and moved on with my life. I don't really need to finish that article. In fact, if I did, I'd probably be angry that I wasted valuable life reading some sentimental tripe meant to show that geriatrics aren't all passive weaklings meant to be picked off by alligators. I mean, Florida's sort of a hole anyway.

But I guess that makes me American. You know...that I don't waste my time with trivia. Sorry, but I'm not embarassed about that.

And for any international readers out there, I'll go ahead let *you* in on a little secret. Americans don't really sit around judging other cultures because we're too busy enjoying our own (you know, the one you swear we don't actually have). Or at the very least, many regard most others as too disinteresting to bother with. One likes to be at home after all.

Now our government on the other hand......
