This migrating to another hosting service is a serious pain
Today's site to move: whitewomanblackdog.com
It's all set up on the other end. I'm now waiting the obligatory 2 - 3 days for DNS to replicate before it comes back online.
Wheeeeee!

I can barely wait for you to move pixelthugs over. Would the switchover be a good time for me to start making my video files available for download from the site? Are our bandwidth limitations looser or tighter under the new server? Will the logon procedures be fairly simple?
These and other questions will be answered in the next episode of... SOAP.

Well... they give me
1TB a month (1TB =~ 1,000GB). There will be limits so that I don't go over, but that's a damn big chunk of bandwidth.
There will be limits on drive space, however. I only get 20GB total, and I have a lot of domains to put up there. I don't know yet how much space everyone will get.

He's moving things over to the same server we moved mrmoth.com over to a few months ago.

Only if folks are warehousing pix or mp3's...how many domains are you carting along?

I haven't decided how many or which domains I'm pulling along with me yet.
I do know which ones I for sure won't be though (this affects no one who has ever used this forum).
And speaking of this forum... it gets moved tonight. Expect it to be gone for a few days.
That is all.

Locked in a room with you, 2 tigers and a gun with 2 bullets, I'd shoot you twice.
