Parking lot fun

The other day my wife and I were out doing some holiday shopping. We're not big crowd people, so this time of year is very trying.

The parking also sucks.

Some bizzach parked her car RIGHT NEXT to my wife's new jeep (you couldn't see the lines in the parking lot... but their drivers door was 6 inches from our passenger door). Upon getting out, the other driver whacked my wife's jeep with her door (it left a small mark). We were standing right there just staring.

No apology, no sheeping look... nothing. They knew we just saw it, and just walked past us into BestBuy. We were totally in shock that someone would be so callous that they would A) park that close to another vehicle, B) give no sign of regret after smacking it with their door.

My wife took it pretty well... at least she didn't do this.

If I had been there, you can bet the cameraphone would have come out, the tab recorded, and a civil suit for a new paint job would have been filed Monday morning before 8:30 a.m. Jackasses like this have to be punished for them to ever learn. It wasn't an accident. It was negligence.

There's battles and then there's battles.

Of course, the idea of leaving a dent in the offenders door that exactly matches the shape of my size 13 Dr. Martins was very appealing at the moment... but I didn't do it.

Just in your mind imagine her slipping on ice and cracking her ass. That would be a thought to make anybody happy. And by the way she is going, she probably has bad karma...so let's hope for the best.
