Running a Semi on a bit of
Hydrogen can improve your power, and fuel economy...nice!
It can improve your milage by 10%, but they say that consumers wouldn't be interested...try us.

Should be required equipment on all half-tons and higher. Of course, trying to get this congress to do something like that would be akin to asking Oompa Loompas to publicize the toothy decaying properties of sugar.

No shit, with gas prices like they are I'd take the 10% reduction. Now the article specifies diesel vehicles, being pretty much engine ignorant, would it work for non-diesel vehicles as well?

Absolutely, the problem it addresses is incomplete combustion. With the addition of a little hydrogen, ALL of the gasoline in the combustion chamber is combusted at the appropriate time. Standard gasoline engines normally burn about 30% of the gasoline consumed at the appropriate time.

You can do the same thing in a diesel engine with propane. I little sqiurt of propane in the air-intake will boost the combustion and increase the horsepower output. The kits to do this are under $1000. The only downside is that you would be paying for Fuel and propane at fill up.
