Last week, Prime Minister John Howard said Australian authorities had received specific intelligence about an attack on the country.
Yesterday, they arrested a group of alleged terrorists (of course, when you're caught with bomb making materials and you shoot at the police... "alleged" is just a polite way of saying "you are sooooo fucked").
Hopefully... they nipped this one in the bud for now.
