Tristan Jacob was born last night at about 8:45pm Mom and baby are both doing well.

RoH has passed on his genetic profile. With another person! His wonderful chromosomes and dna and stuffs have found a way to insure they continue into the future.

I guess that's one benefit of living in Seattle.
And that's about the only one I can think of (other than the fact it's a fairly hip town).
Those of us who don't live there get other benefits: cheap housing, light traffic (even at rush hour), etc.
