Hot and cold-running bile. I actually like a couple of the people on this list, but even in those, I see some valid points in his comments. Pretty funny. Except for the cats one. Of course he put Persians up for the photo. I love cats and I can't stand Persians. And #1 is dead-on.

Personally I am in favor of Sir Paul. One of my very favorite songs came from the Wings era.

I could pretty much kick any one of those people in the crotch and feel good about myself.

Well.. I'd feel bad about kicking Robin Williams... for about a minute... then I'd remember that Popeye movie, and kick him a second time.

How the hell did he score higher up (#13) on the chain than Pat Robertson (#47)? If ever there was someone who needed to be put into a bag and then beaten till there were no more lumps... it would be Pat.

But I would classify Bush in the same category he used for Tom Cruise. And besides, now that Patriot II is close to permanent, I love Bush. Nope, no complaints here. I think he's swell.

Mull of Kintyre (45 sec. clip), one that was more popular across the pond than in the USA, as you might well know, Porc.

I liked a lot of their other songs, but this song burned in my blood at the age of 13. I knew I had to go to Scotland someday as one of my goals in life.

Fast-Forward to 1995. A friend of mine married a scottish guy and invited some of us to attend their reception in Glasgow. I actually had the money and a current passport, so off I went. While I was in layover at London's Gatwick airport, I passed by a sunglasses shop in the airport - right as "a certain song" was playing on the radio. Full Circle, seemingly.

It was the shortest 10 days I ever spent anywhere. One of my bigger regrets in life was that I did not find a way to stay there a year or so.

I agree with you BF. I find that people who have NEVER lived outside the good old USA don't share the same perspective as those who have.

Not their fault of course, and unless you join the military or peace corps, fairly expensive.

It has always amazed me how Americans who have never lived anywhere but in America, prioritize what they think is important. I had never really left Washington state till 1970 and had quite an eye opener as I traveled around the Pacific and then later the Atlantic. You gain an education that can not be duplicated by "reading" about it.

I am afraid though that when more suicide bombers start attacking mass transport systems, we will find 3 things that are gonna happen:

1. People will be afraid to NOT use their own cars/trucks/SUVs or whatever (avoiding Mass Transit).

2. We will see more and more Patiot Act type legislation enacted and actually requested by fearful people.

3. The idea of "profiling" racial, or otherwise, will not be found to be such a dumb idea.

Now you can sleep well knowing that they may not kick in your door at 3am and take you away for publicly speaking out against the President (a crime under the PII Act). You'll be able to rest assured that your family won't be locked up for asking where you've gone and the the media won't break any laws if they report your dissapearance (again... both against the law under PII).

Yup... the Patriot Act II is swell indeed. And President Bush... he's my favorite (Stalin is a close second though).
