Battlefield2 is like crack baby..... I'm a God in it!!!

Post by bio » Fri Jul 15, 2005 1:46 pm

Well.. only in my own mind. In reality... I suck donkey balls.

But there are reasons for that. I won't stoop to doing something low like this which generates huge stats (and shows the world what a smacktard you actually are).

You can, however, follow my progress into greatness by clicking this link (it may not work... that server is sooo overtasked it's frightening... here's a screenshot). Some glorious day, I will climb out of the steaming herd and will shine as a God. Remember this, for I shall remember you when this happens.

That is all.

Sad thing is it is your best accuracy @ 60%

That is funny...I almost killed a teammate iwth a defibulator. Hehehe. I went to give him health and hit the wrong button...and pressed too quick. LOL. It was Bio's son I tried to heal.

Ummmm...words fail me. They need to change the respawn parameters...at least.

I'm running an AMD 3000+ (Barton core @333mHz), 1GB PC2700 DDR @333mHz, and a Geforce 6600GT (400mHz fsb, 128mb RAM @1GHz).

Not the biggest powerhouse by far... but it plays very well when the game is set to medium textures, no lighting effects, and anti-alias at 4x (smooth edges make me happy).

It is playable at the maximum settings, but it's much smoother lower down. It's all about the fps, baby!

My path tward Godhood may have come to a crashing halt.

It appears that my account has either been deleted, or the account server my data is stored on died.

Either way... I can't log in as me any more.

Fortunately... my sons friend also uses my box. I just won him 2 medals and added 70 kills to his stats. Not bad for one round :-)

Is that one that you have to pay a monthly subsciption fee to play?

<soapbox>

Those piss me off. If you have to pay monthly to play... they should be free (like Eve Online is) if you downlaod it... and cheap if you order it on CD.

The idea of paying $50 for a game that charges you $15 a month to play is insane. It's $180 a year to play most games which require a subscription fee.

Heh.. do bad my kids didn't pick games that were free to play.

I've allowed each to have one (and only one, damn it!) game with a monthly subscription to play.

This way... if they piss me off, I can revoke the privilege. :-)

I got tired of waiting two days ago and re-created the account. Sure… all my stats are gone, but at least I still have my name in the game. I can build it back up…. and it’s only a game after all and not worth getting upset over.
i cried for you :)

saw some news articles about koreans getting divorced, after they met romantically playing game "X" and they were short while later gettting divorced.

the man said the woman could keep the flat but he wanted to keep their joint multiple games accounts they built up $40k worth or something :)

and others have killed each other over a magic sword or something . . .

what have we created?
