I have been de-throned

Normally, I'm the King of Stupid Things That Happen to Me.

If it's dumb... I do it.

Today, there was an email in my inbox from our new graveyard operator. It reads as follows:
Good morning everybody,
My close friends and family call me Lucy (spelled Loosi - cause I am cool - :)
I was nicknamed after Lucille Ball of the I Love Lucy show.

The following incident is why...

This morning at around 3am I was coming back into CNOC.
When I reached the door I bent over to put some of the things in my hands on the floor.
I was trying to carry too much.
As I bent down I heard this spraying sound and I thought "what the H_ _ _ _ !"
I looked in the direction of the sound and to what to my wondering eyes do I see.
My pepper spray / mace gun clipped on the waistline of my pants.
It was leaking... Oops - I did not have the safety button on.
All of a sudden I started to feel the spray running down my leg on on my stomach.
"Ouch!" - I thought - "this is going to be bad".
Suddenly, I took a galloping run up the hallway to the restroom.
But before I could make it my skin started to burn. OH MY! It was really hot.
By the time I got to the door of the restroom the smell hit my face and I gasped and almost collapsed (Just kidding)
I went into a coughing frenzy. I coughed for a little while. Then...
I dowsed water onto my face, stomach and legs - but it was way too late.
I did not realize that this stuff worked so well.
My face, stomach and legs felt like they were on fire.
Now I know what the bad guys must feel when they are attacked by the pepper spray phantom.
Anyway, this is only an instance of why the nickname Loosi is appropriate for me.
I didn't think I would have to tell you all my nickname, because I did not think it would be applicable at work.
I guess I was wrong
I hope you all get a good chuckle. I sure did laugh for a while...
But...That is why they call me Loosi.
By the way, I can still feel thing stinging. (Ha! - Ha!)

Have a great day.
For those of you who work here... don't tease her, or I'll kick your butts :-)
