Something in the US water

Okay, so we go to Mexico for a week, drink mostly bottled water. The only tap water was from the resort, no problems. Eat anything we want. We get back here and after one day both me and the wife are having... stomach troubles shall we say. It sucks. Should have stayed in Mexico. So I'm sitting here half starved cause I can't keep anything in. I just ate some biscuits and gravy and some bannan muffins, should be hitting the bathroom in about 15 minutes.
