How to make money dissapear (VIII)

Post by bio » Tue Jun 14, 2005 7:41 am

My youngest son has a birthday on Sunday (fathers day). He'll be 13.

He gave me a list of things he'd like (some of which isn't available or just won't happen).

Here's the list he gave me:
  • Black and White 2 (won't come out until next year)
  • Unreal Championship 2 for XBOX (I already got it)
  • Mech Assault 2 for XBOX
  • Computer Upgrades (I have most of this covered)
  • Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for XBOX (no way in hell!)
  • Microsoft Explorer Mouse 4.0 (usb)
I ordered him the following:
  • Asus P5P800S Motherboard
  • Intel P4/2.66GHz
  • Corsair DDR 400 (1 GB)
  • Samsung 120GB 7200rpm Hard drive
He's also getting my old Geforce FX 5500 256mb DDR video card.

Oh... and there's a birthday party at Casa de WWBD on Sunday. I'll be making steaks on the grill. Come on down!

*edit* I was going to upgrade myself and give him my old components, but after careful review, he's getting the new stuff

*edit again* I added the mouse... he really needs one

Wish him a happy one from me.

Man, wish I could stop by...

Got any "old" stuff you want to get rid of? It's probably faster than what I have now.

I'll have the following items to sell:

iWill Motherboard (don't remember the model)
AMD XP 2000+
512mb PC2700 (it might be a gig... I'll have to check)
Asus Geforce FX 5200 128mb DDR

All this can be yours for the low, low price of $70

You'll need a case with an ATX power supply.
