Drilled out the baffles yesterday on the 454. Has a much deeper lawn mower sound( )as oppossed to a high pitched lawn mower sound.

My neighbor heard it without the mod, with straight pipes(oh yeah) and after. Thought it sounded pretty damn good. Wants me to do it to his 95 1400 Intruder. Lady J thought it sounded pretty good also.

Eddie had done the same thing with his V-Star 650 Classic (many moons ago).

I thought it sounded like he had swapped the regual exaust out for a couple coffee cans, but he seemsed to like it :-)

Your results may vary. Risne, lather, repeat. If it looks like a taco, eat it.

With the 454 it works good. My neighbor's 1400, I think unnesessary.

We'll have to go on a ride so I can hear it :-)

Mrs. Bio and I rode to the top of Mount Spokane yesterday. She swore I only took her up there so I could collect on the life insurance (it kinda goes straight down with no guard rail in some places). It's an absolutely stunning ride though.... mountain air, trees, rocks, etc.

I took a ride this weekend too. Packed the neice on the back and off we went. About a 2 hour ride, she loved it. I'm soooo glad she's old enough to ride on the back. Still no freeway traffic though, sticking to the back roads.

As for the moded pipes, I did like the sound of the drilled baffles. It's a good quick inexpensive mod you can do for a bike you don't want to or can't afford to put new pipes on. Is it as good as new pipes? Of course not, but comparitively it makes it sound better. Nice job.

Forgot to say that Sunday I actualy went on the freeway. It was early and I was feeling confident. Granted I only went from Barker to Sullivan but it was the fastest I had gone. It kinda sucks not having anyone to ride with and no place to go, so I have been taking baby-steps in learning. So-far I have went less than 40 miles. I want to go every night but family stops me.

In store for this weekend -- Air filter mod. I wil take out the stock airbox and replace it with clamp-on 54mm filters. Filters cost me $27 total with shipping. Will take pics while doing this and post the best one.

Seems like there is a few riders here, maybe some time we should get together, or if you see a Suzuki C-50 roll by Barker that would be me.

I could go for that...

I'd wave from a curb on the route, but I'd go for that...do they still make 3-wheel choppers?

Me too, Me too!

There's safety in numbers.

Painted could lead us in her car, maybe she would give Bugfreezer a lift.

Yeah no problem, but I'd have to clean the car or you will be getting sheets of bugs in the face. LOL. There is something about a white car that says, stick to me.

Don't forget about me. I would love to ride with you guys. I am sooooo tired of riding by myself. From time to time it is nice but all the time sucks.

I don't even know what it is to ride with other's. Hopefully Bio will go out this weekend and school me good.

I hate being alone, as I really have no place to go but just ride around. :(
