Painted came over for dinner and stayed to watch Battlestar Galactica. Unfortunatly, I fell asleep in my recliner and missed it. When my son went to walk her home, they heard yelling and thought they heard a gunshot.

So... they woke me up and I drove them home.

On the way back, we coudln't turn to come back down my street because there were 4 police cruisers blocking the road. Apparently, there was something going on at the end of the block.

Guess I'll find out tomorrow exactly what it was.

Holy Crap! It was a good thing Mike and I turned around. I got so scared that I fricken smacked my head on something coming back up the hill a little way. I get scared easy at night.

I get spooked easy at night and I almost ran my but to Bio's house. I don't like night time, specially in this city.

Sorry to hear it - Spokane is not what it was like in the 80's, that is for sure.

We like just visiting....

I've been watching the news but didn't see anything.

I've also checked the local news station websites and there's nothing there yet. Something happened, but I might have to wait till Monday to find out what.

Dang the waiting...LOL. My head still hurts from last night. I think I have a bruise where I smacked my head on the thing hanging out of the tree.

Oh, if it didn't occur in the media, then it didn't happen. I mean, if a kid drinks himself to death in the forest, and no one's there to report on it, did it really happen?

Only if a hiker stumbles across the body years later.

Then it will be featured on "Forensic Files" on Court TV.

You're lucky that I didn't die on your doorstep today. I don't think anybody has scared me that bad before.

Umm, sorry to break the pace of this thread, but. . . .

Can I archive a copy of that show for you at my house?

<no cable, no satellite, man I miss tv>
