The joys of leasing

As my employer has elected to lease our computers rather than buy them, I am once again preparing for my by-yearly data migration.
I've never understood the lease concept. I'm sure it looks attractive on paper and perhaps some tax benifit... but we pay more than the actuall price on a lease over a 2 year period, and then we ship it back (where they "refurbish" it and sell it to someone else for additional proffit).
But then, I don't make the decisions around here, do I?

It's a tiny God... bow before it!
