Practice safe littering

This guy had a very bad littering experience...
For the record, I don't EVER throw a lit cig out the window. I have an ash tray and I USE it.

Good to hear, because it's a $975 fine for the first offence (the price goes up every time they catch you) here in Washington state.

Given that every August/September in Spokane, the highway is reduced to one lane of traffic for the daily cigarette-related grass burning, it probably should be a lot larger of a fine.

I applaud the use of the ash tray, thank you.
Nothing like having a lit cherry, thrown from the car in front of you, smack your windshield and literally explode in your face, blinding you (if an night), causing you to swerve, maybe hit the car next to you, etc.
Been there, done that.
I believe Pigman has a similar story, except he was on his ride.

Another thing about this that really bothers me, is that many times, that cherry will stay lit and sparkly even after I've driven over it. My fear is that someday -I- will be the one pulled over for flinging a butt out the window.
And I don't smoke.

Well, as soon as the cop got a whiff of your breath, they'd know it wasn't yours. I wouldn't worry about that too much.

It was brisk (I can't feel my fingers, but I'm happy!)
