It's always something

I'm STILL trying to hook up my central air. It's been fighting me every step of the way so far (perhaps it might help if I had half a clue as to what I am doing).
But why stop with just one appliance?
Now, my washing machine is making lovely grinding noises on the spin cycle. It's only three years old and I can't remember if I purchased the extended warranty (or if not, what the length of the standard warranty).
So... I call Sears. They pull up my record and tell me that they see a lawn mower, deep freeze, and vaccume cleaner, but no washer or dryer in my record.
How the hell did they miss that? I paid over $2,000 for the set! Since they can't find it, it doesn't exist.
*grumble*
More money out the door.... wheeeeee!
EDIT: I called them back and bullied them... they found my washer in their system and will be there tomorrow morning to fix it. The warranty is still in question, but with 2 kids... I NEED a washer now!
