I found this website interesting.
Its a guy with a bunch of resouces that is building his own jet engine! I wish I had access to half the tools this guy does...I don't know if my other half would ever even see me!

This guy is pretty facinating as well. Found him when I was looking for turbo parts a few years ago.

Yeah, I have seen him before, and even had conversations with him on another forum devoted to pulse-jets.
He dropped off a couple of years ago after he got some heat about not delivering on the products he was selling. I still go to the pulse-jet forum frequently, and it seems that his name comes up every couple of months. Always for non-delivery of products ordered. He takes the money and never sends anything in return. So browse the website, but don't send money.
Pulse jets are a pretty cool thing. There was a time when people thought they would be the wave of the future...the Germans did, they made the V1 powered by a pulse jet.
