website here.
Tomorrows the day. Huygens descends to Titan. Discover Science is showing it live starting at 9pm.
Cassini is one the of the first .jpg's I D/L'ed from the net. I remember being fascinated with its mission and its just a cool illustration, I still have it somewhere. That was back in about '92, with my 386/40. The image took about 10 mins to D/L and about 30 seconds to display. For all you youngsters in the forum, this was state of the art for the time. Of course, this was on a 14,400 bps modem, windoze 3.1, 4 meg of RAM, and a 100meg hard drive. I was using trumpet winsock (is that a blast from the past?) and netscape 1.0!
