sleeping late, smoking too many cigs and just lazing around the house set me up for the "hung over" feeling I have this morning. This sux.

Not to mention the fact that it was a tropical 19 degrees (-7.2 c) this morning and will be a whopping 12 degrees (-11.1 c) tomorrow.

Remind me again why the hell I live this far north.

At least we get 4 seasons here, and no hurricanes or tornadoes...well, big ones, anyway. Ice storms are a novelty, not a way of life. Most heavy rainfall drains off quickly - no floods. When it's hot, it's almost never muggy. The only real complaint about the weather is that it is rather dry most of the time.

...I like it here.

My big thing is that Spokane is big enough to have what I want and small enough to not have what I don't.

Rush hour here means it will take you an extra 5 minutes to get someplace.

And I guess the weather isn't that bad. I grew up on the plains of South Dakota. It may get cold here, but at least it's not windy all the damn time.
