Just feeling kind of Melancholy.

mel-an-choly: [so called from the former belief that it was caused by an excess of the system of black bile, a substance supposedly secreted by the kidneys or spleen]; depression of spirits: dejection, gloom -- melancholy adj

I hadn't really thought about it, until I was reminded recently by an alarm in a PIM I use. Though I hadn't had the PIM (personal information manager) running for a while due to some computer ugrades, I -did- have to put in the old hard drive for a while, and as the computer booted, the PIM started up and all the overdue alarms went off.

And there it was. It could only have been that.

For days, it's all I could think about, and I didn't know why. But that reminder, struck a chord. I had known it for years, and then tried to forget, but it wouldn't go away.

And here it was again, that same time of year, though I didn't recall it. It had haunted me again for days, until fate had me plug in that other drive, for something so non-related, I now forget what it was.

It happens every now and then, something I can no longer dismiss.

The reminder? Her birthday, November 28.

<is that entertaining enough for you Bio?> :D
