NOVEMBER 10--In a bombshell lawsuit, Liza Minnelli's former bodyguard/chauffeur alleges that the singer forced him to have sex with her and also beat him frequently.

I saw that yesterday elsewhere. The credibility of the guy seems to be spurious at best. My thinking is that its all jockeying for positioning over the forthcoming divorce.

But then, I doubt I'll think about it again after I hit the submit button. At least I hope not.

Hard to judge the validity. I guess it depends on how bad you wish to avoid hetrosexual activity with a aging movie star. Seems like Bill "fair & balanced" O'Reilly and his sex charged lawsuit has dissapeared from radar screens.

I guess more than anything I keep asking myself why the media thinks we should care about any of this. Why do they report on it? Because people are interested? I don't know. I think they create the interest themselves. If they can't gossip about people you know in your hometown, then they'll gossip about public figures, because everybody knows who they are.

But more than anything I just really hate that gossip about people's sex lives is fodder for entertainment. But then, this is the nation that brought you pork rhinds. So I guess taste is not relevent.

Ah .. but is this really about sex? or power and money. Perhaps it made the news because it contains ALL the ingredients of Sex, Power, Money, Celebrity, and plain old BIZZARE....
