Those crazy Canadian's may take the X-Prize.

I hope they do, I would rather the "underdog" win than Burt Rutan. It's not so far away, I am thinking about going and witnessing the flight...

Honestly... I don't care who wins it, I just wanna see this take off (literally!).

Personally though, I'm a SpaceShipOne fan. It's the pretty and stuffs!

I'm with Bio - SS1 seems more useful overall. That being said, if the Canucks pull it off, God Bless 'em!

Better still, they'd get $10M American dollars, whuch translates into 13,075,466.49 CAD - goes a bit further.

I'm pretty sure that $10M american actually translates to something like $1 Bizilion Canadian dollars. Of course, our money is all green, so they won't know what to do with it.

We have colored currency here, but we call them "food stamps".

Last time I was in Canada, I ran up a pretty good bar tab. I left them a $5 US and told them to keep the change.

Funny thing about those Canadians... they have NO sense of humor.

So go there on that day...bring your binocs and have fun. It's not that far away, only 642 miles or 1033 KM or 3.348373e-011 parsecs. Just a good days drive each way.

Sux for the Canucks! They did not get off the ground.

Rutan, Allen & Co. do'od it!

Good for them!

Now we need a self-contained spaceship (no boosters, carriers or balloons): Xprize is gonna have more competitions.
