T1 has thorsen differentials. Now that I think of it, the H2 has lockable front hubs. The driver's side was spinning pretty good, so the passenger wheel had no grip. When the driver's side caught, all the force of the spin was diverted to the wheel that had traction (the passenger side). If the driver would have locked out his hubs, this wouldn't have happened.

Kinda similar situation happened to a friend of mine. He was driving a VW Rabbit up the south hill in Spokane on Freya (more flying than driving). Every time he came to an intersection, the car left the ground. On one intersection, he forgot to take his foot off the gas while he was air born. When he came back to the ground, both half shafts blew.
