I have moral issues with that as well. Go with the Gila monsters. They're vegetarians.
Say WHAT?
Gila monsters are toxic and use that toxin to overcome their prey.

Hurrrr For some reason "GIla Monster" was hitting me as "Iguana". I actually wasn't aware that people kept Gila monsters as pets. That seems like a poor choice.

Absolutely poor! Mrs. Bugs would rip out my wings (for starters) if I tried to bring one of those chappies home. Honest mistake about the ID. Iguanas make good pets, I hear.

My uncle had an iguana. It was really cool. Lived about 14 years and died.

Hope you didn't take that as some sorta attack cheer! I meant it as another "BugMan" educates us on the animal kingdom! I remember the time he helped us identify some sort of weird (to me) bug that was attacking us on the smokers picnic table...

About what? My uncle's iguana?

He has a pet monkey too. I get to play with my uncle's monkey and babysit so he isn't a bad boy.

You know how hard it is to get a diaper on a monkey? Well I couldn't even do it. That thing was climbing my uncles halogen lamp.
