Happy Halloween!

Post by bio » Sun Oct 31, 2004 6:43 pm

Boo!

So far, only 12 kids have come by Casa de Bio.

Our front yard is covered in web, huge spider in the corner, strobe lights, fog machine, 8' tall pumpkin, flame pots (the kind with a light and fan that blows orange silk), etc..

We're even giving out full size candy bars.

Get your ass over here, kids... I spent way too damn much money for you not to!

Heh, we almost ran out. First time in the new neighborhood so we weren't sure how many would show. I was giving out the candy as I was in no shape to go walking around outside with the kids (damn wisdom tooth). So I was being kinda liberal to start. I had to dip into my private stash to finish off. Luckily I have that on hand. Now I need to restock it :)

We had 3 different families bring their kids over to go around our neighborhood, then everyone came back for chili dogs and baked potato bar. Everyone seemed to have a good time and the kids of course brought in a great haul, despite the cold. And another Halloween is over.

We finished with a grand total of 31 kids.

Favorite costume of the night: A young boy in a black cape and a cardboard box over his head (he did cut out a face and outlined it in red). It was hard to get over the fact that it said "Land O Lakes Butter 1lb quarters" on the side of his head.

i didn't have that many, but it was snowing and i think a lot of parents didn't want to walk around in it -
