Good News: Leno's Quitting and Conan's Taking Over.

Bad News: Won't happen until 2009.

Why even announce it? Get me all excited only to discover that it's so far off in the running, I'll be in the workforce again and the show will be past my bedtime by the time it happens.

He seems like a really nice guy, and I'll bet he's funny in person, just to hang around. But I hate HATE HATE that he always explains his jokes. He's just not very good at that whole monologue thing. He does seem to make his guests feel at home though. Or maybe that's just the liberal amounts of booze they hand the guests in the green room before they come on...
