Bike builder dies

Post by eddiecanuck » Sat Sep 04, 2004 12:15 am

Well I was sitting here watching Discovery Channel's Great Biker Build Off, it was one with Indian Larry going agains Billy Lane, I had seen it before but like the bikes so I watched. At they end they had a dedication to Indian Larry... that I HADN'T seen before. The end year was 2004, so naturally I hit the net and find this. Looks like he was doing a stunt without a helmet and it didn't end so well for him. So I guess it's somewhat fitting to post in the Darwin's Grag Bag.

He made some nice bikes, another unfortunate accident, and just one more good reason to keep the brain bucket on.

Helmet = Good .. especially if you tend to ride "STANDING" on top of your bike while it moves on down the road.

I too have see those Indian Larry shows on the Discovery channel... The dude was one hell of a bike builder... sad news indeed...

The industry has lost a good one...I like his bikes, always inovative in a retro sort of way...
