Perhaps if you smooze up to mudflap (sending her lots of nekkid photos is a plus), she'll send you one (she does work for the Evil Empire in the XBOX division).

Oh yeah... get that digital camera clickin'!!

Oh I am so on it! (Not your ass, but the Halo 3)

The beta was pretty cool and the custom games are badass. 50% gravity and 300% speed with laser cannons...insane.

I'd mock this but I'm rather close to buying a set of stormtrooper gear, and once you own plastic fantasy armor, your geek card gets extended to lifetime membership. What's worse is that I'll be decking mine out with working electronics. Of course, then I get to attend parades and charity events, so there's at least a little reward for my humiliation. Still.

Well....It's out. As of two days ago.

Apparently the lines were worse than Halo 2's. People waiting outside stores at midnight, standing in line for like three days...Genius move there eh?

I mean seriously, I've never seen a game so awesome that I'd want to stand in line for three days, frostbitten, near dead, and hungry....

I love that video. Woulda been cool if it progressed us to live in the world of Halo. It's like we are the forunners, and our original destruction wasn't even brought on by a last ditch effort to destroy the flood by activating the rings, it was actually brought on the Halo saga itself.

That would explain the construction of the Halo rings and the Forunner constructs, they are all modelled after the video game. The flood could be an intelligent parasite that was created by some crazed Halo fan scientist. Nah, that wouldn't work with the timeline, forunners were to have lived 100,000 years or so before the first encounter with the covenent.

So have any of you been playing the game? What do you think? Are you satisfied...disappointed? I don't have the internet at my new place yet, so I won't pass full judgement until I've played for several hundred hours online, but the campaign left more to be desired. I mean, it cleared everything up between the flood, the prophets, the sentinals, etc., but it only took me about 8 hours to beat the game on heroic, and that was it...I was hoping for more gameplay.

I thought we had moved on from hyping this to hyping the arrival of Evan Almighty on DVD. I didn't realize anyone was still paying attention to it.
