Are you a native of Oregon by any chance?

I was wondering that too.

No, as a matter of fact - the fact that it's Oregon's state motto was almost enough to make me think about a different phrase :)

Not that there is anything wrong with Oregon of course, just don't want to be a billboard :)

Gotta be pretty brave to put a tat below the elbow. They're tough to cover up. Then again, bravery is one of flap's few admirable traits :)

That's where my next one is going. In pretty much the same place, actually, only facing out instead of in. I'm getting two cherubs holding a banner saying "Liberté", in black and white and sort of old-world looking (like all my others). I can't say I've ever been worried about being able to cover it up. If something requires me to hide it, I don't want to be there.

I have one just a half-inch further on the wrist, because I apparently needed more pain. As I'm sure Mudflap will attest, its comparable to having a knife slowly drawn lengthwise down your wrist. Especially if it involves dark, heavy lines.

Actually this one was suprisingly less painful than the ones on my back. I believe that is because the lines were short. Quite honestly, there were some parts I didn't even feel.

The artist who did this has an interesting gallery of his work here

Oh, and PS Mudflap... if you look up at the header, you'll see that you've had a PM from me since Sunday.

Dude, that guy is amazing. I especially like the series of presidential buttocks.

Also, Ryden!

Tattoos are getting more and more accepted now...I don't really worry about having them exposed. I have four now. One on each fore arm and one on each shoulder. I plan to have the rest of my upper arms covered in the not too distant future. Half sleeves. Can't get full sleeves, I have an allergy to the sun that causes itchy bumps on my arms, they eventually turn into scars...I don't want to ruin the tattoos that I would have.

Once the half sleeves are done, on to other parts of the body...but I don't know what yet.
