How about a light bulb that will burn for 50,000 hours and produces 100 watts worth of light for only 10 watts?
If you burn it for 12 hours a day, that'll last you 11 years (or just over 34 years at 4 hours a day)!
Sure, it costs $99... but that's pretty damn cheap if you ask me (especially when you factor in how much power you save over it's lifetime, ~$450, and how many bulbs you don't have to buy)! It also reduces about 9,000 of CO[sub]2[/sub] output over it's lifetime compared to a standard 100 watt bulb.
